Lawsuit Filed in U.S. District of Minneapolis Claims Witness Collusion

A lawsuit was recently filed in the U.S. District Court in Minneapolis by Lakes Entertainment.  It names a New York law firm, former attorneys of that law firm, and a consultant that was a witness in a previous trial as defendants in the suit.

The case is accusing the defendants of collusion with an expert witness that testified in an early trial.  It states that collusion occurred, as well as an effort to hide the collusion.  The case was only recently filed after the consultant was charged with similar conduct in a California court.

The case involves the Stratosphere, which is a Las Vegas hotel that was famous for the rides at the top of it.  The original case  dealt with investors losing money because of the Stratosphere.
